One misty moisty morning.

Early morning scritch scratch sneezes at the bedroom door as we claw Her out of the bedroom. We are hungry. The day is moist. A gentle breeze strokes the autumn garden. Honeysuckle in full flower tumbles from the bones of an old pear tree. A rose, freshly pruned, holds a few tight buds of late flowers. If they blossom they will be sunburst of gold with the richest scent, but winter's hand may take them first.
Max sits outside in the dawn light with fine beads of damp dew blanketing his fur and She is cross with him until She realises he is better. He looks up and smiles, enigmatic as only a cat can be.
Maurice still sneezing and now Pixie adds her small sneeze to the chorus. She seems ok, but time will tell.
The house is upside down as Hannah is going to Spain on a school trip and Rosie is helping with the packing. Oh dear.

Yikes! Maurice... and now Pixie?!!! Still, at least Max is better and happy.

Hope Hannah has a great time in Spain and er, doesn't pack Rosie by mistake!!

One misty moisty morning when cloudy was the weather... I met an old man all dressed in scarlet leather....dressed in scarlet leather and cold as the day... or something like that.....

hahahha....I remember that little ditty or sing songy thing from elementary school.... can't quite remember how the rest of it goes though....

so happy to hear that some of the gingers have stopped sneezing and feel a bit better....... c'mon little Pixie..you, too, can do this.

One misty, moisty, morning,
When cloudy was the weather,
There I met an old man
All clothed in leather

All clothed in leather,
With a cap under his chin.
How do you do?
And how do you do?
And how do you do again?

When I read the post's title, I remembered that old rhyme, too.
Big chin scratch to Max and gentle hugs to the sneezers from all of us.
Spain sounds fun for Hannah;just not sure what she'll say when Customs ask if she packed her own luggage!

An old man all clothed in leather... I'd love to see your illustration for that... or Rima's. I imagine she'd love that.
