It is so strange that some cats can withstand great temperatures while others seem to become overheated just lying in a ray of sunshine.

No one will argue that point!

Cat on a hot (metal) tin stove!
Boy do they love the heat!
My sister's old cat used to love lying on a teatowel on the kitchen double radiator, dhe actually preferred it without the teatowel...still not as hot as the woodburning stove I'm sure! Did Max get off as it heated up?
Love to all the furries from me and my furries, xxxxxx

Max, you like living on the edge. Be careful not to turn into a catloaf!

We used to have a stove and it got mighty hot, you could roast chestnuts on it, I can't fathom how your moggy can stand it...is there a strange burning smell?

Old proverb: If you want to find the cat, look for the warmest place in the house!

There you will find... Max, the star of several books! What a gorgeous cat he is too.

We had a wood range in the kitchen when I was a child and at night, Mother would open the oven door to warm the room.Kister Cat would sleep in the oven.
