Were they really concerned about the children or were they really looking for birds?? Bailey, being an indoor cat, (we pledged that when we bought him because of the coyotes who just jump six foot fences and make off with any body's dog or cat) any way this time of the year the birds drive Bailey crazy with all their chirping and singing.
Great climbing lessons, but where are the children? Are they still there, mysteriously invisible? Or are they now watching and learning from the ground?
I'm so glad Nadolig is home and his human is home too. May they have many more years together, and be healthy :) xxx
P.S. I've featured you on my blog and "pinched" one of your photos. If you object please let me know at blackDOTcatsDOTfolliesATgmailDOTcom and I'll remove it :) xxx
oh, MY! what a wonderful ginger cats we have here! fabulous! I love cats! I live in the southern of Brazil and I have two of them, Meg Ryan and Samwise Gamgi!
When first we started there were four of us, all ginger, and Max. Time has passed. The ginger pride are ghost cats, appart from Elmo. Now the house holds Max, oldest, tabby farm cat, dark, usually found sleeping on a cushion, Elmo, last of the Gingers, beautiful handsome and wonderful who still walks to the high hill top. And now there is Baggage and Bundle, silver mischief in sharp clawed kitten form. The adventures continue.

climbing lessons are a good idea :) don't want to have to phone a fireman to come get them down if they get stuck ;)
