Sometime when we've pushed ourselves for so long we need time to recover, things will move again in their own good time. And thougths for Mr Griffiths need space in our minds to explore the underlying emotions. His house is very symbolic, it's hard to put energy into yours when his is still waiting. Pixie understands this.
Those are lovely photos of you both. I especially like the center one. Teasel, my "dashboard" cat likes to ride about on my shoulder like that--sort of like wearing a heavy shawl. I hope the house is getting warmed through--when the heat gets down it takes so long for the restored fire to reach the bones of the place.
When first we started there were four of us, all ginger, and Max. Time has passed. The ginger pride are ghost cats, appart from Elmo. Now the house holds Max, oldest, tabby farm cat, dark, usually found sleeping on a cushion, Elmo, last of the Gingers, beautiful handsome and wonderful who still walks to the high hill top. And now there is Baggage and Bundle, silver mischief in sharp clawed kitten form. The adventures continue.

Wonderful to see the two of you! Love that conversation and the 'Hey, are you listening?' paw!

I like the way you speak of your neighbor. Convey my best wishes to him.
Awwww, that is so cute. Our cats don't like to sit on our shoulders.
