Telling tales, of walking in wild places, of painting, of sleeping in warm places and of mice and other things....

Early
Still dark and stormy outside but inside warmed by the fire. Pixie, who slept curled on Her bed last night until Her restlessness led the tiny cat away and back to above the fire, seems a little better but will be straight off to the vet once they are open this morning.
She has glasses now for painting. Seems Her eyes weren't quite working together. We think it is Her time of life, if you know what we mean! She has blood pressure, but it is sort of normal. Ah well, maybe She should put Herself in a basket and take Herself to the vets, then She would find out what it is like. Bet the human vet doesn't do that with thermometers that they do to us!!!!!
I hope that Pixie is feeling better and the vet can help her.
Have you a vapouriser? Some steaming water in a bowl placed next to Pixie may help her breathing a little. But don't use any aromatic or essential oils, they can be toxic to cats.
You have my sympathies, a house full of poorly cats is hard work.
Across the sea, Brody (who resembles Kiff) is up early this morning and checking in to see how you are all doing. Hoping Pixie continues to improve quickly and all will be well soon. Thanks so much for visiting us at our new blog!
xo and best wishes for good health from Brody, Ellie May, Polly and Nancy
Hello Pixie, I hope you soon start to feel a little better. I've been worrying about all the the Gingers since the studio boss told me you weren't well.
My Tabby sister has been bitten on her tail, she's curled up tight and hisses when I touch her - she has a headache. But she sends her love too.
Big purry healing thoughts from the Ginger studio assistant all the way from Suffolk.
When first we started there were four of us, all ginger, and Max. Time has passed. The ginger pride are ghost cats, appart from Elmo. Now the house holds Max, oldest, tabby farm cat, dark, usually found sleeping on a cushion, Elmo, last of the Gingers, beautiful handsome and wonderful who still walks to the high hill top. And now there is Baggage and Bundle, silver mischief in sharp clawed kitten form. The adventures continue.

I hope that you all get better soon. Love Coco
Phew! At least she made it through the night. Hope her purring engine will be working again and the sniffles will be banned from the house.
Oh, poor poor Pixie. And poor you - a worrying time when beloved cats are ill. Sending good wishes and warm thoughts to both of you.
Frankie & Elbey send much love and purrs, oh! & want 'Her' to get Her poorly heads sorted... eye test or sumut required?
