Birds and cat curls and a film

The day was cold, the bird feeders busy with birds all day. Rain turned to sleet and hail and the north wind blew, so we curled in the warm of the house.
Yesterday She should have gone to London to a party, but we have begun to teach her how to be a good cat mother, so She stayed home. And in London there was a party at Waterstones in Piccadilly, to launch "We Are All Born Free", and you can see the film that goes with the book here. But She did not go, because we are better than a party and in London you cannot see the stars.

Oh you are so right! Who would want to go to London when she could be with you in Wales?!!! I do not like cities, even historical ones.

With three stars at home, what's London to her or she to London?

Even the pictures of the birds do not rouse the cats from their snoozes. I always love Pixie in the 360 degree wraparound position! Such a cute cat!

Ah what lovely ginger curls! that's a very important lesson in being a good cat mom...the importance of spending quality time with them, especially when they're feeling poorly. I still regret having gone to work one yucky February day two or three years ago when i knew that my foster cat Tommy had just had surgery the day before...and came home to find the poor baby dead. I so wish i could have been with her to hold her as she went over the Rainbow Bridge.

Yes- my kitties have trained me to stay close also....we watch the birds/trees/butterflies/clouds & doze between snacks.

Stay warm & cozy!
