For a while She went away, but brought us back a picture of a beautiful bronze cat. It seems She was working at a place called Art in Action. We also were working, doing site management, watching the roof getting covered and the rain retreat. Now we are glad that She is back and She also is happy to be home, and this bright morning, in the early slant of sunlight we walked together up the green grass lane to the high hill top.
The grass made a tunnel of green light for our path and on the hill top small moths danced intricate dances through bracken tunnels. The fern fronds cat curled. We found the quiet death of a butterfly, ginger wing striped by grass shadow.
On top of the hill we sat with Her, and then on Her, so that She would rest in a moment of ginger stillness. This was bliss, how life should always be, together, sunkissed by early morning pale light and warmth, watching the birds fly.

Well... on the bright side, at least you got a walk out of her and sit down and comfort/welcome home. And it is good to see you again all looking golden and beautiful.
Hopefully the bang and clatter will soon be over too and then you can make it yours all over again.
but the going back to work is what makes those quiet moments so beautiful.
love the bronze cat! & how lush your landscape is in this summer.
It is good to hear from you dear cats again and to see your sleek gingery selves in a lovely green grass space. I'm glad the wet is shut out of the house and soon the clatter and dust will go away and you can find clean warm places to curl up and dream.
becky the kitten here...you guys are sooo lucky to get to take walks about the countryside. my mom won't let me out cause she thinks i would run away.
^..^
p.s. mom likes that beautiful bronze cat sculptural piece.
Welcome back. I have missed your stories. Deb Steckly, Carleton Place, Ontario, Canada
I am so glad your roof is almost done. Was worried the orange gang would turn yellow ...
Your walks are always so nice to see ... cats and nature ...
Thanks so much for sharing !!!
I am so happy that you have the sun back!
We all think you are beautiful/handsome but we are actually a little mad with Gingers at the moment, well ginger and white actually. A vicious monster roams the gardens here and those of us that are out door cats have had to do battle. Saddly Bilbo,Felix and Smudge all now have scars. Buffy so far has escaped but maybe its because she was born Ferrell. Felix is a little embaraced because his wound was on his deriere and the vet laughed at him and told our human that he must have lost the fight.
It must be wonderful where you live but will be even better once its all cosy again.
Those early morning moments are so very precious. To capture and hold in ones mind scrapbook.
You are very beautiful ginger cats and I love your home!
Stunning photos Jackie!:)
Glad to have you back! I went to Art in Action once long ago and every year I mean to return but without a car I am reliant on others wanting to go. I remember it being such a memorable, beautiful day... I hope you had fun? xxx
Once again, a lovely peak at your world. A breath of fresh air, my stress goes away.
Thank you for sharing.
Kat
