This week I have been mostly eating...
a packet of tomatoes,
a lettuce, or maybe two,
some poo de sheep
some banana
an envelope
and Buddha's head.
I may have a struggle now to find enlightenment and fear that Nirvana no longer awaits me, but then I am contented here.

- When first we started there were four of us, all ginger, and Max. Time has passed. The ginger pride are ghost cats, appart from Elmo. Now the house holds Max, oldest, tabby farm cat, dark, usually found sleeping on a cushion, Elmo, last of the Gingers, beautiful handsome and wonderful who still walks to the high hill top. And now there is Baggage and Bundle, silver mischief in sharp clawed kitten form. The adventures continue.

As Buddha would agree, all living creatures are sacred and precious - so I should think he would be more concerned for your safety than his head - or the mere physical representation of it.
Besides, the dog that dances has already reached Nirvana.
*lol* oh Rosie, whatever will the Buddha do without his head?! this may lead to some serious karmic indigestion
Oh dear, someone has a very strange appetite. My cat's only favorite food other than canned cat food is Marmite!
oh, my little gingers! have you forgotten? cats are born as the embodiment of nirvana, not to work to achieve it!
