Hiding from the builders
All day long while the builders bash away at the house we hide in Hannah's room. Hope She doesn't notice the paw prints on the sheets. When it goes quiet we peel out of our hiding places one by one by one. Then we prowl around to see what they have done. Builders sing. Noisy people they are.
if pixie thot tha attic stare was a lovely hole, just wait'll the roof comes offa tha howze. [an we hope sheez still feelin well, by the way]
Mine is happy for the oppurrtoonitee for more pickchurs of the singing bilders. ;-) her grandada was a bilder -- itz a gud life, she sez, makin playces fur us ta be safe an happy in.
Bedrooms seem to be a haven for cats when there are noisy intrusions into the shared space. Some of them curl up against the wall under the bed, we have several who dig their way under the quilts and stay there as stodgey lumps until the all clear is sounded. Wooly blankets in this household have an extra layer of warmth from cat hair--and I sometimes find the marvel of a dropped whisker on my pillow.
When first we started there were four of us, all ginger, and Max. Time has passed. The ginger pride are ghost cats, appart from Elmo. Now the house holds Max, oldest, tabby farm cat, dark, usually found sleeping on a cushion, Elmo, last of the Gingers, beautiful handsome and wonderful who still walks to the high hill top. And now there is Baggage and Bundle, silver mischief in sharp clawed kitten form. The adventures continue.

We think that is really a sweet picture of you! Paw prints are special! Builders are scary!

You are very, very wise to hide out while all the noise is going on. I usually hide under the bed.
Safe, sweet and snuggly - wish I could join you! What fun you will all have when the house has no roof!
I'd be hiding too.... I like it quiet ... not even any music...just lovely peace and quiet..
What a comfortable cat! Yes builders are noisy things but not really threatening, especially to a lovely cat like you Pixie!
I am sure they would make a fuss of you, but then it must be very comfortable in Hannah's room with the added comfort of Hannah to make a fuss of you!
that looks like the perfect snug place to hide from the noisy singing builders!
Such a great photograph! Looks like one comfy cat.
Lol, being a cat is very hard :-)
Mine hide in the same place/way when there are workers in the house or outside.... Love the paw print.
