Max has been posing again, this time, just to confuse, as Maurice. Not our Maurice, but the Maurice that our Maurice was named for, from the book by Terry Pratchett. This piece of Her colouring in is for the Disc World Calendar 2010.

this is lovely :) I love the colours (I need to re-read those books now :) )
How odd - this of Maurice is exactly right from my mind's eye.
Of course She baffles me, as all artists do - they are such clever and unsettling souls. My sister recently sketched my black cat Oli for an exhibition - but as a tabby - which capturing his character but someone else's look entirely.
Wonderous picture! Captures everything in a moment, doesn't it
Great painting! i'm looking forward to reading this book, thanks to your recommnedation
LOVE THE TORN EAR.!
Finished the book a little time ago - an enjoyable read - and you have captured the "moment" perfectly! Three cheers!

Fabulous! It's definitely Pratchett's Maurice! I love that story... tho' I suspect that your Maurice does not have the same relationship with mice that Pratchett's Maurice does!!
