The Glass Man

A few days ago She left the house early. We heard her talking. She said She was going to play with The Glass Man. Some time ago She read a book called The Girl with Glass Feet. Could this be a man completely made of glass, living a fragile existence by the edge of the land?
Whoever he is She came home tired but happy. It seems that soon we will have a big piece of glass on the wall by the cooker.
Now we are wondering whether She could make a panel with a bright burning tiger.

  1. oooo I like the look of that piece of glass! It looks like some I saw in a gallery in Devon. I can't remember the name of the person but I'm a teeny bit jealous! ;)

  4. Wow! What a process to make the glass pictures. Gorgeous work. A tiger would be lovely on your wall. I can't wait to see it.

  5. Beautiful glass. Tigers on the wall would be beautiful, a fine tribute to the Ginger Cats

  8. of course She could release a bright burning tiger from glass! but the tiger wouldn't be near as bright as you gingers :)

  9. So beautiful! I do hope the Ginger Darlings will admire from a distance.

I love beautiful glass items, but unfortunately so do the Lair Cats. Their love is of the more harsh kind, and glass shards and cats' paws don't mix well.

I've asked my oldest son, the seaman, who currently visits me to build a cupboard with windows. Thus both I and the Lair Cats could watch and nobody would risk to have any paw hurt.

  10. Beautiful glass. I do hope the Ginger Darlings will admire from a safe distance.

I love beautiful glass items and have acquired a few over the years. The Lair Cats also love them, but their love is, well, of a more harsh kind. Glass shards and cat paws don't mix well so most of the glass items are tucked away.

The Seaman, my oldest son, is visiting and I've asked him to make me a cupboard with glass windows where my few precious thing can be kept. Thus we could admire them from a safe distance and no cat paws would be at risk.
