Prayers in the wind of the world.

Prayer flags in the wind carry prayers around the world for many more days like this, as they unravel in the breeze. Yesterday Kath came and gave Maurice two injections and today his breathing was better and mischief reigned in his bones as he raced birds up the tree and soaked the sunshine deep into ginger fur.

  1. Dear Maurice,
The wind blowing in the trees always makes our wild spirits dance with joy too. We're sending you our love through the Halloween night - wooooooo-ooo all the way over to Wales from Suffolk.

  6. Oh, happy day! The little boy-cat in the tree, he looks like he's having the time of his life, what a sweetpea! Best wishes from my ginger cats to yours! (Tho' my boy-cats spend more time sleeping by the woodstove than tree climbing.)

  10. and prayers are ongoing here (in the Bronx, New York) that the lung trouble will turn out to be builder's dust and the body making a capsule around it. Something that can be dissolved and resolved.

  27. Some of my strength, some of my fire that Maurice may live is my desire.

From the bones of the earth
To the bones of the cat.
From the breath of the air
To the breath of the cat.
From the blood of the sea
To the blood of the cat.
Let him be full of strength,
Let him shake off all sickness
    Let him be strong again.

Wishing Maurice well and you too Jackie. That first picture is so moving.
