Counting birds

Today when we were walking we saw a kestrel, two choughs, three buzzards and four ravens.

We sat on the high rock above home and helped Her to think for a while.

As we walked back down the hill we could hear hammering and banging and sawing.

Back home and in the evening we were first a ginger blanket of fur for Her, and then a pile of sleeping purring.

  2. What brave pusses not to run away with all the noise in your home! But when the workmen are done She will have a nice new studio and you Gingers will have a nice new fireplace!

  3. Oh my...what lucky cats you are to have such a lovely place to call home and to walk in, too! You all are so handsome and your land so beautiful...it would be a lovely movie to watch or book to read. Teri says blogs are like books to her...

  4. Dear Jackie

I don't want to choke your email with rubbish, but I thought, if you have time between builders and editors and sundry distractions, you might like this short video clip.
Of course, with Welsh and NZ connections, I may be biased!
A friend has put this on her blog at http://didrooglie.blogspot.com/2009/03/extreme-sheep-led-art.html

The cats would be impressed, I'm sure!

  5. What a warm bundle of fur they make!

I do so love your view. I think it surpasses Flamborough and that's saying something! But Flamborough has the memories for me and that just squeaks it over the top.

  7. I wonder if the birds were counting cats?

Maurice of the Mountain, looks very majestic but don't tell him - it might go to his head.

I love the ginger in the grass, very mysterious and a slight hint of tiger in the eyes!

  8. We would like a lookout like that! What a wonderful place to let thoughts play.

Then back to the house for the ginger pile!
