My Pilates instructor would be an elegant black & white cat if she were a cat. When I started Pilates 4 years ago I was a Golden Retriever; now I think I could be a Maine Coon. I'll never have the simple elegance of the extraordinary gingers!
Hi, nice to meet you! I found a link to you on Mickey's blog. You are very poetic and interesting kitties. I read the "Purr n Fur" article and love that the whole family goes for walks together:) xxx
So true! I get closer to this ideal on a cold winter's night, with a comfy bed a large feather duvet to help, but still have a long way to go... I envy you your relaxation techniques!
'Score lines along the top of your garden wall at two-inch intervals. This way you can measure the temperature of summer days by the length of your sleeping cat.'
More weather lore: If rain is on the way, the cats will be lying down.

Off-season, but sound advice from a scholar here:
ReplyDelete'Score lines along the top of your garden wall at two-inch intervals. This way you can measure the temperature of summer days by the length of your sleeping cat.'
More weather lore:
If rain is on the way, the cats will be lying down.
If sunshine is coming, the cats will lie down.
If it is to be windy, the cats will... (&c)
That has the sound of a proverb.
ReplyDeleteLove that quote.
ReplyDeleteNeed to read it everyday! I've often thought of copying the schedule and attitude my cats seem to have.
