Rosie's walk

We left the cats at home, eating supper in the kitchen, and walked over the hill to the place where the path wanders through heather. The smell was like honey.

In places the path was not even wide enough for a puppy to walk....

..but luckily I have been taking levitation lessons from Maurice.

Further along I found the wall where the cats pose for photographs, tumbled stones white with lichens and softened by moss, ancient, beautiful.
I am the puppy and I too can walk on the wall.

Such a huge landscape and such a tiny Rosie.

It's a good job you can levitate above it all!

Wot Jane said! Lovely to walk through so much sweet heather too... and Maurice is so good to give a young pup levitation lessons.

oh those colours, the heather, the gorse, reminds me of walking on the cliffs at home.
Walk for me, Rosie!

For a darg, Rosie is pretty cute. I wish we could smell the heather...it looks so beautiful.

Sorry Rosie, I spelled your name wrong in my last comment. Sometimes I do my comments late at night, so I'm half asleep. That is a perfect execution of levitation, Rosie -- a very useful art when exploring brambles, fern and heather.
