Sad news
Very sorry to have to say that Lord Genji of Silverstorm was killed by a car on Saturday. So sad. This is how I will remember him best, Lord of the high hill. For now, that is all.
Dearest Jackie, I am so sorry for your loss. Such sad news. Our dog, Lexie was killed by a car two weeks ago and the grief, guilt is very hard to deal with. Hugs from Robin.
So sorry to read this post.. your most handsome Lord Genji will indeed leave a gap in all your hearts. Sending a hug, I know just how difficult it is to loose a beloved pet. Rose H x
Such heartbreak! i am so, so very sorry. Loosing a dear furry member of the family hurts so very deeply...especially when it happens when they are young. My deepest heartfelt sympathies to you and the rest of your lovely furries.
you would think living where you do he would of been safe but....so sad to hear this Jackie. I am sure the few short months you had him were so happy for you all. How is his sister? I don't know how you can take losing another cat so close to all the sadness you had with the gingers. I was suppose to be making you feel better and I have failed terribly, sorry. xxx
Your beautiful silver boy. I had a beautiful golden boy taken the same way, 11 months old, on a country road. He, too, burst into our lives as an extraordinary force of nature, completely himself from the moment I met him at four weeks old. He glowed with ginger fire. He took over the household from the moment he arrived and drove my elderly lady cats mad. His first prey was a gloriously mysterious owl pellet, full of wild bits and pieces. He was not the 'Maurice' of my life, but knowing him for that short time changed everything. I am sure that creatures like your Genji and my Titus are here for a reason and they leave so soon for a reason. It is our misfortune and our great good fortune to collide with the universe's plan for these fantastic explosions of bright energy which spend such a short but glorious time with us.
Oh Jackie, I am so sorry to hear this. They have been your beautiful soul mates for such a sort time. How lucky you are to have know such a wonderful boy.
I cry with you, I wish I could take away the grief and hurt.
Beautiful Boy, forever young. So sorry, Jackie, for the pain in your heart, and for the loss of her brother to Baggage (Freya) and of their friend to Elmo and Max. Many purrs and prayers go with Genji on his ascension.
I'm so sorry to read about your loss, poor thing to lose yet another so young and new to the family, such a darling sweet thing. Take care of yourself and love your wee friends. Best wishes, Laura
