Easter. Hares. Once upon a time hares were called 'woodcats'. As a thank you to all those who have followed on facebook and read Her blogs both here and on Wordpress, she is giving away a drawing of an Easter hare.
To win you have to go to the gallery, The House of Golden Dreams and 'like' the page, then 'share' the hare image on your page.
If you don't do facebook you can still win a copy of 'I am Cat' by linking to this post and leaving a comment below. The book will be signed by Her, with an elaborate ink cat, and more importantly by me, Elmo.
For now I am resting, It is not easy being such an inspiration. I am doing a stripes and spots combo on a Melin Tregwynt blanket.
It IS tiring being the inspiration of all things wonderful, isn't it? We cats go through so much. Peeps will never understand...
ReplyDeleteGood to see you posting again, Elmo. And I quite understand the need to rest - it can be very tiring, being the inspiration for an artist. I believe the word the use is "muse."
ReplyDeleteI think you look rather fetching on that blamket, can I cuddle up too?

Every time we go to our favourite independent bookshop in Manchester, Vermont, I look for your books. I would love for my 11 year old daughter to see this book. She's a cat lover/ cat whisperer, a budding artist, and in love with Wales, even though she hasn't been there yet. (we are planning a trip with her grandmother next year)
ReplyDeleteAs we all know, life is hard, then you nap.
ReplyDeleteLove your drawings and all your cats.

The cover of the book so captures that special look some cats have ...our tabby ...Sid ... has that look ...change the colouring and it would be him.
