A knock on the door and who should be there but Glyn and Nadolig. Glyn, home just for the day but hopefully soon home forever and Nadolig happy purring in his arms.
So we all went round to visit, and Glyn was smiles in the sunshine.
Back home through the green and Nadolig came too, to sit in our garden for a while. Soon, soon. Glyn will be back and the summer will come and he will sit in his garden and remember the past and look to the future.
Wonderful news about Glynn.
ReplyDeleteAnd what brilliant pictures of Nadolig out walking with his (feline) best friends :-)
SO glad he has had chance to visit his beloved house and cat. Heres to a lovely happy summer.

So nice - to see so many cats happy together!
ReplyDeleteI had to share: I have been following your gingerness for a long while - finally signing up as a follower when it was still below the hundred mark. I must be channeling your gingerness - as a ginger boy cat has suddenly appeared and is living under my house!! he has been there for a month or more already, and I don't know where he came from. He is very friendly, and wants very much to be loved. I suspect he would be in the house already if it weren't for my dogs who are very reluctant to let him in. so, instead, I have made him a bed there, and feed him every day (he eats more than both of my dogs!)
I wonder if I am the first follower to receive a mystery ginger, or if others are experiencing the same?!
Ooh so sweet..
ReplyDeleteThe little white -washed cottage looks as if it's recently had a coat of paint, door and shutters too.
The 'gingers' make me laugh, they act more like dogs rather than cats, following along the trail and dear Nadolig right in their midst.
It's lovely to hear that Glen was able to visit home, albeit a day, at least he knows everything is there, waiting for his big retrun in the very near future.
I wish him continued good health !
Welcome home, Glyn! Even if for a day. Sending you healing hugs, and cat purrs from SoCal.
ReplyDeletesmiling here across the ocean, too. welcome home mr. griffiths!
ReplyDeleteSo happy that Glyn got to visit home and Nadolig got his human for him. Lovely of you to visit.
ReplyDeleteMy verification word is "bright" which seems quite appropriate.
How lovely to see all the Gingers so happy to welcome Mr Griffiths, and so nice to see Nadolig joining in as one of the pride...
ReplyDeleteMr Griffiths sounds like such a lovely man...
Such simple yet such grand pleasures.
ReplyDeleteSo pleased Glyn is improving.
And we, Geiger and Sporran, would like to add our purrs.
Each day has something to treasure in it...my cats mean the world to me, too...
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely sight ... Nadolig and the Gingers! We are so happy that Glyn has been getting to come home and will soon be there for good.
ReplyDelete'Kaika and his mom
Many happy summer days to look forward to! Love the picture of Nadolig joining the ginger trail!
ReplyDeleteWhat a welcome for Glyn, even if it was such a short visit. Here's to a wonderful summer for you all.
ReplyDeleteWhat good news! Best wishes to Glyn & Nadolig & do be sure &keep us up to speed on when he gets home, so I can send a "Welcome Home" card this time :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful news! It's so good to see Nadolig joining in with the pride.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful blog!
ReplyDeleteI once had a ginger cat, Dickens, who was supposed to be a boy but then he had kittens....and she had extra toes for all that extra love she gave me :)
What good news. I hope that Glynn will soon be home to enjoy his memories and the company of cats.
ReplyDeleteHow great that Glyn was home for a visit and may soon return to stay at home again. By the way, I love the tint of blue on the door and window trim. Looks like it was chosen by an artist :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a "right" feeling all round. Nadolig walking along with the others, just super. It seems unusual, that they are none of them territorial, and just a big extended family.
ReplyDeleteI love the last picture, priceless :-)
ReplyDeleteHow glad Glyn and Nadolig must be to have the Gingers household looking out for them. Wishing many lovely warm days ahead for all of you!
ReplyDeleteThe news about Glynn coming to visit with Nadolig absolutely made my heart soar! The photos are brilliant, soulful, and inspiring.
ReplyDeleteGive our special greetings to Glyn and Nadolig. I do love the photos of the cats walking in single file along trails that they have probably helped make.
ReplyDeleteOh, I enjoyed this post so much. Hugs, Deb
ReplyDeleteThank you for the update of Mr Griffiths, and I hope is much better, happy and healthy. I hope Nadolig can enjoy his human at home again.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures of the Gingers and Friends that brought a smile to my face. Best wishes to Mr G as well.
ReplyDeleteThe Lair Cats send their greetings and wishes the Gingers better luck with the weather than we're experiencing. The Far North is covered with rain and fog, no weather for a cat to dwell in - or out.
Had to smile at Nadolig's four meals per day. He certainly is a resourceful chap - most significantly when he managed to find himself a loving home with Mr Griffiths. May they both be reunited (permanently) soon. xx
