Across ground sprinkled with snow we walked together to the hilltop high. So quiet the day that you could hear a cat paw on frozen snow, a flapwing flight of a flock of lapwing and the crunch munch of cows grazing bracken. Light and snow, winter, a sky filled with birds. Paradise.
nice to see mr. griffiths.the cow certainly looked warm. a bright day with just the right amount of snow...
ReplyDeleteMore lovely photos, but...the last...so very sweet.
ReplyDeleteI hope that Mr. Griffiths has a fire so at least one room of his house is warm for him. Your world looks cold and crispy today.
ReplyDeleteWe too had a lovely crisp walk today, but our cats stayed snuggled up at home, they don't like the crunch of icicles between their pads! So good to see mr Griffiths looking well, and his cottage so smart in sky blue. We had a lovely talk with him in august when we stayed near you! Happy new Year to you all.

A unique and beautiful world there with the Ginger Cats...
ReplyDeleteI once lived in a cottage similar to Mr. Griffith's cozy indeed with a foot thick walls.
My" Oliver" cat would fit in quite nicely with your ginger babies.
Stay warm !
