Maurice: Outside her door this morning, a present.
Hannah understood.
" Just think of it like an advent calendar, mum," she said. "One morning, just a wee, the next, a wee and a headless rat." Clever girl, Hannah.
She did not seem so impressed at 6.30 in the morning. No sense of humour!
Mmmmmmm could be quite a build up outside your door by Christmas day........
ReplyDeleteWell just think it's like the feline version of the 12 days of Christmas
ReplyDelete..it's just the choice of gifts that's unique...it could've/should've been
"two rats heads
and a wee on the do-o-or post"
Good luck for tomorrow...
Quite frankly how humans have survived so long without a working sense of humour is a mystery to every sentient cat, ginger or otherwise.
ReplyDeleteYou sweet ginger cats...have a great Solstice...and Christmas Eve/Day...please, tell 'her' to put a lot of Christmas ornaments on the tree...in the right hight for you to play with...and tell 'her' that the shinning Christmas bulbs are the best! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!
ReplyDeletePolar bear hugs!
Funny! And I love what Trasha said.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! I miss the days of vole/shrew and mice presents. I think they miss it too here, the wee ones are looking a tad pale, not enough protein.
ReplyDeleteThe wild cats and dogs, cougar, bobcat, fox and coyote have kept me indoors.
It is a shame.
