I spot the difference. I'm not sure if the up close one is wearing a collar or not, but that could be one thing? The other is, one tongue is hanging out. Ha! Sorry. The dog in back appears to be maybe younger because it is more slender.
hmm... is that rosie on the right? actually, they look like they could be twins in this photo! two of the most beautiful dogs, sharing space with the magical ginger cats. what an enchanted corner of earth you all occupy!
if it wasn't for the size difference, wouldn't be able to tell them apart
ReplyDeleteOh, easy! Placement of the nose freckles and the arrangement of silky white hairs on top of the beautiful heads!

ReplyDeleteAmazing how similar their markings are! But Auntie, being older, is somewhat heavier...and has that tiny little black spot on her muzzle.
ReplyDeleteGosh darn it I love collies

ReplyDeleteMischief incarnate! In fact double mischief!
ReplyDeleteHmm, Rosie's the one at the back? Both naughty... so that's where Rosie got it from!! Unless her dad was just as naughty of course!
ReplyDeleteThe one with the tongue is closer to the camera ;-)
ReplyDeleteMy first visit here--I love that picture of the curled-up-cat! Wish I could walk with you and the nearly-identical dogs!! C
