The sun has shone on a windy day and She spent the day with the builders, painting walls while they stuck bits of wood to the walls, cat beds all, long ones and high ones and ones with doors. When they had all gone we inspected their work. All coming along nicely.
Oh, well done! Not only super cat spaces, but I see She has managed to work in the hares. Please tell Her(and Her builders!) I think it's lovely.
ReplyDeleteOh wow! what a difference a few weeks makes, such beautiful glass, this cottage is going to be a work of art in its self,
ReplyDeleteLooks lovely! sweet glass - reminds me of the work of Carry Akroyd - is it inspired by her art?
ReplyDeleteThis will be a lovely kitchen with warm cozy nooks for cats who want to be companionable.
ReplyDeleteIt may take a bit to get settled, but hopefully it will be worth the weeks of mess and uproar.
It's looking so beautiful now and will be such a joy to live in :)

ReplyDeletegorgeous! a worthy background for the gingers...
ReplyDeleteLovely stain glass doors.Local artist?SHE must be looking forward to the end of this project.I really like the look of those cupboards though.Stay out of the butter OK guys.
ReplyDeleteI don't see cat beds.
ReplyDeleteCabinets are perfect cat beds ... especially when there's something else in them, like clean pots and pans, casserole dishes, or even china. Then, of course, they make the best beds.
ReplyDeletethat glass is gorgeous :D
ReplyDeleteNo Joanna, it is by a lady called Julia Mills and inspired by Her work from a long time ago. They have say in the house for many years and only just found their real home here in the new kitchen.
ReplyDeletethe kitchen is coming along beautifully! how nice of the builders to leave some of their toolboxes around to use as temporary cat beds!
ReplyDeleteThat wood color shows off your fur to purrfection!
ReplyDeleteJobs such as the one in your home need plenty of SNOOPERvision☺
ReplyDeleteIt's looking marvellous Jackie!
ReplyDeleteThe end must be in sight then?
My house looks a bit like a building site today - but that's just my two year old and my five year old running amock!
Though my two year old Elswyth has kindly managed to re-decorate almost every wall with felt tip and crayon!
Must be exciting seeing your house coming back together again...
Best wishes and kind thoughts,
Carrie...
How lovely the cabinets are - congratulations and thanks for reminding that the agony of remodeling is finally worth all the wait and time ...
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for Jackie, the Gingers and for Rosie as well .. think of it - "Recipes By Rosies: A Collie Amongst the Cats!"
What beautiful stained glass and what a wonderful idea for a cupboard front - especially with the personal touch in the design.
ReplyDeleteHaving lived in a building site on and off for 16 years when we were doing our farmhouse up, I can sympthise, but the mess and mayhem will come to an end, I promise . . .
The new cat beds are coming along nicely! I would say the new cat beds are quite beautiful!
