Up a tree

Someone dared Her to follow us up the tree, but we say no, no, no, up a tree is not where She should be.

  1. Fantastic! You should be a photographer as well! (I'm assuming it is you further up the tree, taking the picture!!)

  2. Jackie,

what an adorable picture !! I love all of your pictures, but this,I have to say, is one of my favorites :).

Thank you for writing such lovely words, and taking such lovely pictures of the Gingers, and the non Gingers ;). I tell everyone about your blog ( and books) because I love to turn other people onto you, and the gang.

  4. If she goes up a tree, she might be up a creek! (Do you have that saying where you live? Up a creek?). Maybe not.

Anyway, I am very impressed by your tree climbing. It is one of my life's goals to climb a real tree one day.

  6. There is a reason why humans don't have claws and a tail for balance (and being one's own prayer flag / panache).

They are only evolved monkeys, but cats are especially clever which is why they are better at climbing trees than humans.

Go on Jackie admit it, Elmo took that photo didn't he?! Well he is a very clever cat...!

  7. Well I hope you helped her to get down safely--humans can get stuck up trees you know, then you'd have had to send for the Fire Brigade, and it'd have made the National mews "cats rescue woman from tree danger"

  10. I have had cats who were very good at "up the tree"--not so handy at "down the tree." Looks like everyone came safely down.

O.K, did you make it out of the tree unscathed? We want photographic evidence LOL!

  13. Now listen closely, Gingers, if She wants to climb a tree, you should let her.... you should be flattered that She wants to join you up there among the branches.
