Happy Solstice

We are the luckiest of cats as we were sent a picture from Elora of a gingercat to say Happy Solstice. And because we are kind we are sharing it with everyone, so here on the darkest of long nights is a suncat to brighten the night and bring on the new year.

  1. Happy Solstice indeed.
I had not remembered until at least noon why Decemeber 21st echoed in a mysterious way.
Snow and ice, and now in late afternoon bright sunshine echoing off tall windows.
Yes, the two legs are getting all of a twitter and out of shape..........

  4. Do the cats get a tasty treat for their solstice celebration? Surely if the trolls must be placated with pies [mince or fruit?] the darlings merit something very special indeed!
The spoiled felines here had bits of smoked turkey with their "tea."

  6. A wonderful picture and such a lovely cat too. Elora is also a beautiful name. Methinks she may be an illustrator herself before too long.

Happy Solstice to all the cats, dogs and indeed illustrators everywhere, but especially in a certain warm home in Pembrokeshire.
