Do you recognize this teapot?

Tidying up the kitchen today we found a teapot which is somewhat familiar. And so we say, do you recognize this teapot?
It does not belong in our kitchen and underneath it says "this item is ornamental only and not to be used as a teapot". So we ask also, what should it be used for?

  1. What a splendid tea pot! As for the Ale, well it looks whisker licking good -and I think a Feeder or two licked thier lips if I'm not mistaken. They say they will be in touch by email...and we all thank you for the kind mentions. It's amazing to see our name included in such a beautiful context and to experience, albeit vicariously, the Ginger cats tales.

  2. I'm new here, but I think it looks like Ernest. I think you should keep fish in it, maybe little ones.

Thank you for visiting my blog. Yours is very nice and I'm enjoying your wonderful pictures very much, too!

  3. Maybe it is a teaching tool. Do you all have a fish tank?

Looks to me like a good thing to leave somewhere for someone else to find. I often take something I'm tired of and put it in a local park and let someone else pick it up and take it to a new home. Sometimes I leave paperback books that way and recycle them.

  6. Looks like a pretty dust catcher to us.

The Food Source saw something like that once. There was a really nice ceramic beer mug he was going to buy. Then he noticed a label stuck to it saying "not for consumption of liquids" or something comparable.
