Progress; or "Needs Whiskers".

Only those who know Her well will understand how hard it is for Her to paint this cover. It is turning into a small hymn of praise for Maurice.

Whiskers or not it is a portrait of that most beautiful of creatures... a Cat, even better, a Maurice Cat!
Lovely, characterful portrait.

I had wondered about that. It's lovely. Any tearstains will only enhance its beauty.

Wherever his spirit roams, Maurice is surely pleased, for you have captured his ginger beauty in every lovely and loving detail. Those eyes are magnificent... and they bring tears to mine.

A Twitter friend of mine has a small phrase for when no words seem enough to express feelings... "Paw huggs"

I knew immediately when I saw the image, that it was Maurice.... and I don;t know "her" well, but I do know how hard it is to lose a precious cat-love. Some cat-loves are so deep, they can never be understood by others.

Beautiful. I feel I could reach through the screen and pat him. She's captured the 'essence' of a cat, wise and worldly.
Cheers,
Robyn

What a labor of love. He is truly breathtaking. I expect him to walk right off that page and curl up for a nap.
