New Toy, Black Cat

Well, off She went to a land far away and left us all here, alone with only the dogs to look after and a couple of house elves. Then home She comes all smiles, with Her new toy and it seems that She has been talking with English cats.
Daisy works at a bookshop in Norfolk and had invited Her to come and visit the north Norfolk Children's Book Group. And while She was there She also went to Attleborough to play and draw and while a dragon watched through the library window, to hear children talk about all the books they had chosen for the Norfolk Children's Book Award.
All dragons were delighted to discover that from the 6000 children who had taken part in the award this year they had chosen Tell Me a Dragon as their favorite.

There are more photos of the dragon wagon on Her blog.

The Black Cat scented magic on the Dragon Van, I suspect.....

Lucky children in Norfolk, to hear stories of dragons and to meet their favourite author!

Wow! our boss loves her dragon wagon! She says she'll give her a wave if she spots her driving through Suffolk.

The van is beyond awesome. Are the Gingers now wanting a sports car painted with their images?

Oh, that suggestion of a Gingers car does capture the imagination! And the dragon wagon is magical --no wonder children are captivated by it.

A lovely post. Sending our best to all the gingers, with hopes that the coming spring warmup might help ease Maurice & Pixie's ailments.

P. S. A beautiful Ginger curl watercolor over on your other blog!

Cor! Now THAT'S a van!! No wonder that black cat is giving it good luck.

Always good to hear stories about dragons and to meet a favourite author must be amazing too. Among those kids, there may be some in future who become illustrators/ authors all because of meeting you.

That is a really nice van, and it does seem fitting that a mysterious black cat takes a fancy to the van!

Hi! Jackie,

6000 thousand children cant be wrong. I'm 71 and "Tell Me a Dragon" is my very favourite book too. We should all remain young at heart.
