Poor Nadolig. And it looks like someone has bloodied his nose while he's waiting patiently patiently for Mr Griffiths to return. Any idea when that might be, Jackie?
I am worried and was a bit upset. The carers brought Glyn home for a visit because he was concerned abpout his home and his cat. It seems that he didn't really recognize Nadolig, though he was looking for his cat. I think the cat he remembers is Ebril, Nadolig's father, a much bigger monster of a cat. Anyway, Glyn is warm and safe in a respite home, and well. He is going out shopping and will hopefully be home soon and his house will be warmer, with more heating and more people to help Glyn to cope with looking after himself. And I know one cat that will be very happy to see him home and a few others too who love to visit him.
We send Nadolig loving thoughts so that he may not feel lonley. Spring will soon be here and with that, hopefully, the joy of daffodils, a return and reunion.
Poor Nadolig! Thankfully Glyn is well cared for, but it will be nice to see him back home again with extra help and Nadolig back by his side! Love Jane xxx
Hopefully Mr G will be less confused and better by the Summer. You are looking after Christmas and as you say Mr G is safe and cared for..it must be a worry but I don't see what else you can do...I hope the Spring/Summer bring happier times for them.
Hello Jackie & friends, I've followed your blog for quite some time but not commented.Your photos of the countryside are lovely and the cats so handsome and noble. Today I de-lurk to ask a question. Nadolig looks so forlorn at your window. I am remembering a post a few weeks ago when he followed you for the first time ever on your walk with your cats. Is it possible he has decided he wants to live with you now? Would you let him?
Nadolig looks so sad without Mr G ...all of us here send purrs and licks ... and meows of love from Buffy,Sid,Madison,China, Willow, Misty Sayba,Nahla,Felix,Bilbo, Marvella,Smudge,Rosie,HP,Mika, Lucky,Phoebe and Wanda. (Yes there really are 18 of us)
Poor Nadolig, he does look sad and a little battered. Would it be possible for him to stay with you and the ginger darlings whilst Glyn is away?. Nadolig looks like he wants company more than anything, especially as he has joined you all on a recent walk.
Once Glyn is home for good, he will probably remember Nadolig. it can take a while for memories to be untangled in elderly folk sometimes. Change can really confuse, even if just momentary.
Rumbly purrs to both Glyn and Nadolig and hoping for a happy reunion for them both soon
I do not know the story of Nadolig and Mr. Griffiths, but have a sense of it by reading all these comments, and certainly by studying the picture. I wish them more time together.
This reminds me of Lexi, my mother's cat, who waited in the front window for two days when my mom was taken in an ambulance. She returned home and they had more happy years together before my mother passed away at home with my husband and me by her side. That day Lexi would not leave my mother, and she was lying on my mother's body on the bed when the funeral takers came. They said they had never seen a cat do that. She was an amazing cat and I honored her memory in this post in 2008.
When first we started there were four of us, all ginger, and Max. Time has passed. The ginger pride are ghost cats, appart from Elmo. Now the house holds Max, oldest, tabby farm cat, dark, usually found sleeping on a cushion, Elmo, last of the Gingers, beautiful handsome and wonderful who still walks to the high hill top. And now there is Baggage and Bundle, silver mischief in sharp clawed kitten form. The adventures continue.

Poor Nadolig. I hope Mr. Griffiths can come home soon and remember Nadolig.

Will Glyn appreciate another round of cards? If so, would some piccies of cats in the remainders of the Scottish snow make him smile or not?
Love to Nadolig xx
I am sending warm thoughts for Mr. G and sad Nadolig, and hoping spring and a reunion at Mr. G's home comes soon for them.

Nadolig breaks my heart. He has no way to understand. I so wish he could sit and warm himself at the fireplace and enjoy some reassuring love.
I'm glad you look after him and see that he's fed. Sure hope Nadolig and Mr. Griffiths are both well and together again, soon.
Poor kitty! Poor Mr. Griffiths.
Nothing is crueler than losing the memory of ones you love.
It is heart breaking.
Poor Nadolig!I hope Mr Griffiths comes home soon, home is where the heart and cat are!
May all things be well from Mr Griffiths and Nadolig. I am so glad you are watching after Nadolig while Mr Griffiths is away.

Perhaps when Mr Glyn gets home in familiar surroundings, the remembering will happen. Sending big hugs to both Mr Glyn and Nadolg.
