James's Hobnail Boot

Now it is almost full moon, but the sky is still shrouded in cloud. We should be sitting in the garden in the warmth of a late summer evening, heads back, looking up at the stars to catch a falling one. Instead we walk the bounds of the village on swift feet, past the whispering well, beneath the sky paths of the aerymice. It is cold.
Earlier today we sent Her off to St Davids Cathedral to see if She could find the memorial. She found James Price from Treleddid Fawr. Perhaps this was James's hobnail boot?

It is strange the emotions which can be engendered by some relic of another person's life time. What are the Welsh words on the right side of the sign? I was trying to decide if they were the same names.
I assume the felines are multi-lingual: cat-speak; English; Welsh?

On the right, Welsh place names. James is from Treleddid Fawr, where we live. Others are places and names of houses around here.
As cats we are mutli-lingual, both English and Welsh cat speak but only if we want to and with whom we wish.

Another post I enjoyed ... and decided to mention you for an Honest Scrap. No need to carry it on, unless you want to.
