Ginger Therapy

When you get to the land that lies beyond Theendofyourtether, which is close to, but not quite near the Lightattheendofthetunnel, it is best to go for a walk by the sea with a black dog and a ginger cat.

what wonderful pictures of you with Bella and Pixie...taking a walk with them is definitely a good idea and hopefully will bring you closer to TheLightatthendoftheTunnel.

I, NZ Ginger, bring you lots of purrs. It is not nice to be anywhere near Theendofyourtether, or on any tether at all. I am guessing that occupying the house of the leaky roof in all its changes, is really not much fun at all a lot of the time! I do also hope that your work is going OK. Best Wishes and Kind thoughts from one Ginger cat down under, and two humans who enjoy your blog.

Your gingers really are little Buddahs.

Sounds like a perfectly sensible idea to me

(the word verification word is "wagision" sounds like that it agrees too..make a good new adjective?)

Oh yes, I know that destination. usually though I find my way out from there by walking with a grey old man dog.

My Riley, who is a Ginger, loves my Choc Lab. Always rubbing against her. She just looks at me like ... why Mom ... let's Riley do it anyway. Riley is in Love with her.

Hi Jackie,

Oh you look so fed up in that first pic, I do feel for you...
It must be hard to picture it right now amidst the rubble, but just imagine yourself under a ginger fur blanket curled up in front of your lovely new fire in your lovely new finished house... hopefully its not too far off a scenario now!

I think the poetry tiles are going to look stunning in your kitchen! I saw them at Art in Action, loved them and bought one (wish I could have bought lots more!)
Anyway, hope the threads of your tether don't run out completely!
All my best wishes and positive thoughts to you...

Our human often claims she has entered the land that you talk about ...especially when we help her strip the walls, the woodwork and often the banisters... or bed down on the warm papers she calls a 'Layout'.
We are not sure she has reached as far as Lightattheendofthetunnel but she has seen The Breaking Point. We will go now before she spots the hair on the keyboard.

Walks are very necessary when it comes to tethers and tunnels, just the break, no matter how brief helps clear the air and the brain...tonight, Max (my black dog) and I enjoyed a Maxfield Parrish sunset after this afternoon's rainstorm...too bad it was too buggy to linger for long...we left our fat ginger cats inside, they were waiting for their dinner and glaring at us from the window! (As if they'd starve waiting!) Soon enough, the fog rolled in and snuffed out the colors...

I hope your tether and tunnel trouble ends soon...

Hope you find the path to TheLightattheendoftheTunnel and it's not a train!

But at least you have two fine travelling companions and Bella is much to be preferred to the usual Black Dog that turns up when you are at Tether's End. And it is always good to have a Pixie about the place.

Who better than a ginger cat and a faithful dog to nuzzle up to and put an end to the blues. I think that's why God gave us animals. They don't ask questions.

ah - an adoring four legged companion and a favored area to walk in does help, doesn't it?

the rust color on the hills in the background - heather? something changing to fall color already?

I presume there may also be a split in the path to TheLandofGreenGinger?

Ah, the laying on of noses and paws! What could be more therapeutic!

Oh my, what a good idea. A walk with a black dog and ginger cat must almost be a cure all.

Sometimes just being outside with furred friends is all the respite we need. Unconditional love from Black and Ginger (and sleek FogGrey as well) makes the path to the Lightattheendofthetunnel much more plain.
