Ginger sunset.

We were late walking this evening. By the time we were over the hill and at the seal beach the sun was low. As we walked back up to the top of the hill the night had begun to draw the colour from the day and with it all sound. It was still. No birds called. The golden grass still glowed white like the moon, but the darkness fell. Bats flew low and taunting overhead. The first stars began to flicker on it the darkening. The lighthouse flashed. So still we could hear the distant calls of people in St Davids, a dog bark. No wind. No sound of the distant waves on the beach, the sea is so calm. The day tipped over into night and by the time we reached home it was dark.

What a poetic journey. You have taken me on your walk with you as if I had little kitty feet myself. Thank you. Cindy at Rosehaven Cottage
