- When first we started there were four of us, all ginger, and Max. Time has passed. The ginger pride are ghost cats, appart from Elmo. Now the house holds Max, oldest, tabby farm cat, dark, usually found sleeping on a cushion, Elmo, last of the Gingers, beautiful handsome and wonderful who still walks to the high hill top. And now there is Baggage and Bundle, silver mischief in sharp clawed kitten form. The adventures continue.

We have slept on it and now consider it to be a device for curling the whiskers of very giant cats.
I have consulted with my patron the Green Knight, and he avows this is the bridge of the Iron Lyre of Lir, no doubt left there for safekeeping and perhaps retuning by the Sun.
.... or that is what small children had been told by their elders, but there are some who tell a different tale, they say this puzzling lyre-like structure is actually the rusting exploded remains of a monstrous Victorian time machine. What happened to
the scientist (or scientists?) however remains a mystery...

I've just been enjoying your posts of late. I haven't been by in a while. I'm always amazed at the beauty you are surrounded with, the ginger cats and your paintings.
But a giant whisker curler would only be of use if you had giant whiskers!!!
