There were tales of treasure hidden during the 1860's--America's Civil War. Odd forgotten items turned up, but never the reputed "treasure." When one lives in a place that has sheltered many other lives and times, it seems good to know something of the people who were there.
I am writing down some of the memories of my family's heritage-- perhaps someone later will want to be acquainted with them.Morning's Minionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01912356455981434029noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2535700394266979924.post-23713446610320251482009-08-02T14:00:38.268+02:002009-08-02T14:00:38.268+02:00Wow that was lovely, it makes the hairs on my arms...Wow that was lovely, it makes the hairs on my arms stand up and a chill run down my spine.
Love
LynLynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03548006686821838698noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2535700394266979924.post-91066412179108249762009-08-02T13:47:56.723+02:002009-08-02T13:47:56.723+02:00immortality achievedimmortality achievedpetoskystonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01633621111274495078noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2535700394266979924.post-5924060269720517912009-08-02T13:35:07.742+02:002009-08-02T13:35:07.742+02:00a sad but lovely storya sad but lovely storyJennifer Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06528908250338974537noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2535700394266979924.post-2773500441449849942009-08-02T12:18:25.812+02:002009-08-02T12:18:25.812+02:00What a poignant story.
